O projekcie

We are going to share photographs of the different views from our classrooms so that   the children can see  how different the views from across Europe are. It will show the diversity that exists around and the variety of views that have to inspire us.
Once we have collected the different views we will get the children to create collages using the images as well as creating other art that incorporates these different views.
We will also get the children to draw one window themselves which will use images   and details from all of  the photographs that have been uploaded so that it can represent   a global view.

Cele

To get the children to see how unique their view is from their classroom window and to compare it with the views across Europe which may have similarities but will also be unique.
To get the children to challenge ideas about what certain views maybe due to perceived misconceptions about where people live.
To consider all of the details that have been collated to create something that represents everyone so that they are considering the entire group instead of being an individual.

Spodziewane rezultaty

A variety of views that will have been cleverly designed by the children to have aspects of  a global view so that they will have had to think carefully about where other people sit, what they see, how they feel and what the view means to them.
A variety of designs that will be unique to the individual but that will have used a variety of tools and material that everyone will have had the same access to.

O projekcie

The Year 4

The pupils, class 4c, took pictures of the views from their classrooms on the second floor of the school building. They enjoyed this part of the project ,, Through my window I can see” very much.
You can see our football pitch, playground, some trees, streets, and houses.
The photos were taken in the morning.

Class 4b worked on our collage. It was based on the different views taken through the windows of the classrooms. Our collage was big and colourful with some information about the project. The pupils had a lot of fun doing that.
This is our collage:

The schoolchildren, class 4a, prepared a few drawings of what they can see, could see, and what they would like to see through their classroom windows. One of these drawings incorporates four different views that we took.
These are works made by the schoolchildren.

Their next task was to finish the sentences:
I can see …..
I could see …..
I would like to see …..
through my classroom windows.

The pupils had a lot of interesting ideas how to complete these sentences. They were very creative and full of enthusiasm.

Here are the pictures of the classroom views from Turkey, Iceland, Slovakia, Romania, Spain, and Great Britain:

The pupils, class c, compared the pictures of their classroom views with those taken in other European countries: Great Britain, Spain, Slovakia, Iceland, Turkey, and Romania. The children drew one window themselves using images from all of the photos. In this way, they created a global view. The pupils looked at the photos from abroad with great interest. They found out what their peers in Europe could see through their classroom windows.
